Thor comes to COMPASS with 5 successful years in residential brokerage, millions of dollars in sold properties, and a prestigious career in Architecture and Development. He was a senior executive with Zeckendorf Development on 15 Central Park West and Project Director for 520 Park Avenue, both iconic ultra-luxury condominium towers. He has Master’s degrees in Architecture and Real Estate Finance from Penn and NYU., has represented sellers and buyers all over New York, and done multiple estate sales, 1031 tax exchanges, and investment sales.
As a sixth-generation New Yorker, Thor is personable, engaging, and motivated. He possesses a deep historical knowledge of the city, the willingness to to listen and the ability to address both buyer's and seller's priorities. He knows buildings, zoning, and finance, has held co-op board positions, and has gotten buyers through the most exclusive board applications.
Growing up on the Upper East Side, Thor attended Buckley School, St. Paul's, and Princeton University. He is a director of Solar One, New York’s leading environmental science education organization and supports healthy green cities and global community through Tusk, Rebuild by Design, Penn Design, and The American Scandinavian Foundation. He lives with his wife and two children in Manhattan.
