With a 25 year career as an Architect and Developer, Thor has designed, built and sold in New York. He guides his clients to understand value in the execution of co-op, condo and townhouse sales as well as properties requiring significant renovation work. He can analyze engineer's reports, appraisals, zoning and air rights as well as source contractors and architects. His skills in comparative market analysis and pricing are unsurpassed.

A meticulous and technology adept agent, Thor works together with his wife Melissa to expertly prepare and market the finest exclusive listings. It matters to them that a listing looks its best, is priced properly and is marketed with maximum seller confidence.

With graduate degrees in both Architecture and Real Estate, Thor is expert at financially qualifying buyers to pass exclusive co-op boards as well as negotiating with new development condominium sponsors. He has served on co-op boards, written references, and nurtured relationships with boards and brokers to make deals work. For his estate & trust clients he facilitates 1031 exchanges, investment properties and works discreetly with money managers and attorneys.

Prior to Compass, as Project Director, Thor led the residential new development team for ultra luxury residential development 520 Park Avenue. He is married, bikes frequently, has raised two urban teenagers, and serves on the board of Solar One, envisioning a healthy, sustainable city.
