About Tim

Where New York City experience meets the Hudson Valley lifestyle.

Real estate has been my passion for more than 23 years. Since beginning my career in 2003, I've had the privilege of participating in more than $1 billion in real estate transactions, representing everyone from first-time buyers and growing families to luxury homeowners, investors, developers, and builders. My career has taken me through some of New York City's most iconic properties, including 432 Park Avenue, The Greenwich Lane, and 56 Leonard. Those experiences continue to shape how I serve every client today.

While New York City helped define my career, the Hudson Valley has always been home. After spending 11 years living in New York City from 2003 to 2014, I returned to the Hudson Valley with an even deeper appreciation for everything this region has to offer. As a lifelong Hudson Valley resident, my focus is helping clients buy and sell throughout the region while bringing the expertise, strategy, and service standards I developed over 23 years in the New York City market to every transaction. I believe my clients deserve the same level of strategic marketing, skilled negotiation, attention to detail, and professionalism you'd expect in Manhattan's most competitive market, whether they're buying a weekend retreat, selling a family home, or investing in land.

Over the years, I've worked with buyers, sellers, investors, and developers across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and the Catskills. My experience extends well beyond traditional brokerage. I've managed custom home construction, advised builders from land acquisition through final sale, repositioned investment properties, and marketed new developments. I've also personally built my own homes, giving me firsthand knowledge of the construction process from site planning and design to materials, systems, and finishes. That experience allows me to help clients evaluate opportunities, identify potential challenges, and make informed decisions whether they're purchasing an existing home, renovating, or building from the ground up.

Outside of real estate, I'm a proud father of two incredible children, a Jivamukti yoga teacher, and someone who genuinely loves the lifestyle the Hudson Valley offers. You'll often find me hiking local trails, tending my vegetable garden, snowboarding, spending time on the water, or simply enjoying everything this community has to offer. Living here isn't just where I work. It's the life I've chosen to build for myself and my family.

After spending 11 years at The Corcoran Group, I joined (Urban) Compass in 2014 as one of the company's first 75 agents. Watching and helping Compass grow from an ambitious startup into a global brokerage of more than 340,000 agents has been an incredible journey and reflects my belief in embracing innovation that ultimately benefits my clients. Today, I combine the power of Compass's industry-leading technology, marketing platform, and national network with the personalized service and local expertise my clients expect.

At the end of the day, I believe real estate is about people. The greatest compliment I receive is when a client comes back to me for their next move or refers a friend or family member. Those lasting relationships are what continue to drive my business, and they're the reason I still love what I do more than two decades later.
