About Orrie
Award-winning Brooklyn real estate professional Orrie King ushers clients to success with an unrivaled combination of warmth, devotion, and skill. She's resourceful and a self proclaimed "real estate yenta". For her, the process of advising and advocating for clients is a labor of love that she backs with nearly three decades of Brooklyn living and a lifelong passion for homes and design. Orrie and Beth Doran are the founders of The King Doran Team at Compass, a dynamic resource for buyers, sellers, renters, developers, and investors with over $150 million of closed transactions to their credit.

Orrie's hands-on real estate experience began 20 years ago when she bought her first home in Brooklyn, and began buying and selling homes and investment properties. Thanks to her upbringing and exposure to design, and her own career as a professional photographer, producer and designer, she wields an impressive understanding and appreciation for the fine details that support a successful real estate purchase. Orrie has an innate talent for creating outstanding marketing strategies for listings while buyers appreciate her keen eye for details. 

Orrie graduated from Pratt Institute and attended the Rietveld Academie. She and her architect husband fully renovated their historic Brooklyn townhouse where they reside with her two daughters, and Peterbald cat. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, creating art, and exploring Brooklyn's many museums and parks with her family and friends.
