Padraic Gallagher founded Story Residential in 2021 to provide his clientele with a personalized approach to profitable real estate investing. He is a second generation, 23 year real estate veteran with a passion for identifying the best opportunities using his extensive market knowledge and development experience. 

For the fourth year in a row, Story Residential is ranked #1 Large Team in Hudson County. They are also ranked #5 overall in New Jersey by Real Trends 2023, conducting well over $1 Billion in real estate sales throughout Hudson, Bergen and Monmouth Counties since 2014. In 2025, The Story Residential Team completed $200+ million in real estate transaction volume. 

Padraic is a Hoboken native with deep roots in Hudson County. He uses this network to source off-market properties for buyers while also delivering top dollar for sellers looking to transact more discreetly. Before founding Story Residential, Padraic was the Broker of Record for the award winning regional office at Berkshire Hathaway, Hudson River Properties. He has been intimately involved in buying, selling and developing condos, brownstones and investment properties along New Jersey’s “Gold Coast” since 2003. 

Padraic also operates a boutique real estate development firm specializing in ground-up and rehab residential construction. His project selection and attention to detail is focused around predicting and matching current and future market needs. Padraic is accomplished at identifying property strengths and using them to create functional interior layouts with a clean and editorial aesthetic. He uses these keen skills to help his clients maximize value when both buying and selling.
