Patrick Kappel

Named the 2020 Team Leader REALTOR® of the Year by the San Diego Association of Realtors, Patrick Kappel is a well-respected San Diego agent hailed among the top 1% within the San Diego Association of Realtors. The San Diego Business Journal recognized Patrick as one of the most influential residential real estate leaders in San Diego, and the journal also recognized Patrick as a Military Veteran of Influence across the San Diego business community. Patrick's reputation for excellence has earned him a long list of loyal and supportive clients and recognition as one of San Diego's top Residential Real Estate Leaders of Influence by the San Diego Business Journal. 

Patrick has led his team to over half a billion dollars in real estate sales since 2017. 

Prior to becoming a successful, motivated agent serving communities all across the San Diego region, Patrick was in the Navy. He uncovered a passion for real estate while in the Navy and began investing in San Diego real estate while in the military, eventually pursuing a full-time real estate career after transferring to the Navy Reserves.

Patrick graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor's degree and continued his education at UCLA, where he received his MBA with additional certificates in finance and entrepreneurship. He then earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. His combined years of academic and practical knowledge have given him the necessary skills to become a trusted teacher and advisor to his clients. 

To ensure his clients receive the best experience possible, Patrick likes to say he and his team are there to educate and inform. Rather than succumbing to flashy salesman tricks, he uses an analytical approach to guarantee his clients understand the details of every transaction. Education makes his clients confident with data-driven decisions rather than those dictated by emotion. 

Besides being one of San Diego's most trusted agents, Patrick is a thoughtful, driven, and patient advisor. While he started in the commercial real estate field, Patrick realized he wanted a more client-based approach and transitioned to residential. Patrick loves helping individuals grow their generational wealth through homeownership and real estate investment, and he considers it his duty to provide his clients with the tools they need to understand the market's economic conditions.

Patrick owns several San Diego investment properties and has worked within both the commercial and residential fields, setting him apart from his competitors. His varied background has helped him to foster extensive knowledge of the financing and sales process. And while many of his clients are veterans and real estate investors, Patrick is equally adept at working with first-time home buyers and those looking for their family's forever home. 

As a dedicated family man, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife Grace, and daughter Sophia. Raising Sophia to be a smart and compassionate young woman is his proudest achievement. 

When he isn't working or upholding his duties as a Navy Reservist Commanding Officer, Patrick loves taking advantage of San Diego's eternal summer weather. You might catch him enjoying the great outdoors by camping, running, hiking, or mountain biking.
