Patrick Shannon

Growing up in Alexandria, Virginia, Patrick was born into a real estate family. His mother, Joan, is a distinguished local realtor, and founder of The Shannon Group. Throughout his childhood, he helped his mother in staging homes and posting open house signs. With over two decades of local knowledge, it is his passion to excel in every facet of a real estate transaction to ensure his client’s success.

Patrick studied food marketing at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia before returning to the D.C. area to work in the city’s expanding restaurant market. For several years, Patrick tended the bar at Oyamel, one of Jose Andres’ most-popular restaurants. While there, Patrick specialized in various agave spirits, and became one of the few local D.C. tequila experts certified by Mexico's Consejo Regulador del Tequila.

His dynamic personality, and attention to detail in every aspect of buying or selling a home, helps guide his clients smoothly through one of their most important and complex decisions in life.
