"I've known Pedro for many years now and was always nervous to make the jump from renting to buying a home. We joke that I've been having this conversation with him for 8 years now. I was afraid of the responsibility of home ownership and a mortgage and always felt I wasn't ready. I also knew that this was me being scared of such a huge decision.
