Petra Socolovsky has always been passionate about real estate, and while pursuing her first career in international journalism, Petra renovated and sold several historic homes in Europe. One project she is particularly proud of is her restoration of the century-old summer residence of King Alfonso's personal physician, near Madrid, Spain.
Petra is excited to apply her media and marketing skills to help her clients' properties stand out in Washington's competitive real estate market. Her Scandinavian style and refined aesthetic sensibility work to her clients' advantage as she prepares her clients' homes for sale.
Petra listens carefully and pays close attention to detail. Her well-honed investigative capabilities are an asset to buyers as they try to figure out a property's true potential, and she goes the extra mile to help her clients find the home of their dreams.
Washington has been Petra's home for more than a decade. She loves the area's vibrant culture and beautiful architecture and currently lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and two sons. Originally born in Sweden, Petra has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Stockholm and a Masters in International Relations from University of Amsterdam. She speaks Spanish, German, French and Dutch.
