About Jim

Jim joined the Hugh Merkle Team 2016 after a highly successful Investment Real Estate Sales career in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania marketplace with two of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms; Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE, where he consistently ranked among the firms’ top producers. Transactions completed by Jim on behalf of third-party clients over the past two decades total approximately $3.2 billion.

Jim’s vast investment sales experience with complex transactions and clients who ranged from institutions to high net worth individuals, combined with his intimate knowledge of the South Jersey Shore real estate market, has proven to be an extremely valuable benefit to his clients when he represents buyers or sellers of luxury homes in the premier resort markets of Stone Harbor and Avalon, NJ.

Jim has been a southern New Jersey resident and Stone Harbor vacationer since age 3. Stone Harbor vacations are a four generation tradition in the Sheehan family and today the entire clan of over 125 family member and friends arrange their Stone Harbor vacations during the same weeks in July.

Jim is an avid boater, kayaker, fisherman and golfer.
