Philip Farmer

Born in Jamaica to an American land developer who relocated to the island’s north coast in the early 1980s, I was raised within the world of luxury property development, hospitality, and high-end asset management. My family has owned and operated villas and boutique hotels across Jamaica’s north and south coasts, providing me with an early, immersive understanding of luxury real estate, service standards, and the expectations of an international clientele.

Our family home is located along Jamaica’s “Elegant Corridor,” a premier coastal stretch defined by world-class resorts, private estates, and championship golf courses. Growing up in this environment instilled a deep appreciation for the elements that define exceptional property—architecture, setting, lifestyle, and attention to detail.

My professional experience spans major U.S. markets, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami, where I have lived and worked. This exposure has provided a broad, first-hand understanding of diverse real estate dynamics, investment drivers, and lifestyle considerations across leading global cities.

I have also owned luxury pre-construction residences in South Florida, giving me direct insight into the development process from acquisition through completion and long-term ownership. Beyond real estate, I founded and operated a subcontracting and procurement company serving government, municipal, and military contracts, strengthening my expertise in construction, negotiation, and project execution. In 2005, I also launched an early smart-home automation and security systems company, gaining forward-looking experience in residential technology integration.

Today, based in Miami, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by real estate, hospitality, construction, and technology. I understand that luxury property is defined not only by design and location, but by lifestyle, value, and experience.
