   Having lived and worked in Boulder for over 27 years, it’s safe to say that Portia Husted knows the city like the back of her hand. With over 17 years of experience as a realtor, she serves buyers and sellers from Boulder to Denver, with a special focus and passion for the Lower Chautauqua neighborhood of Boulder, where she lives herself.

   With a strong background in advertising and marketing, and a deep interest in photography, copywriting, and design, Portia expertly positions luxury properties to inspire the best possible offers. For Portia, marketing is one of the most fun pieces of the puzzle: she got her start in real estate as an assistant to a high-end boutique agent in Boulder and quickly soaked up best practices for selling luxe properties.    Although most of her business comes through referrals and repeat clients, Portia is always open to meeting new people and enjoys working with buyers on the hunt for the perfect home.    A passionate philanthropist, Portia co-founded Holes of Hope, an annual golf tournament held at Lake Valley Golf Course in Niwot where she also sponsors a hole each year. All net proceeds go to the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation for use at the Tebo Cancer Center; the event has raised over $600,000 since its inception.

   While not working, you might find Portia hiking, skiing, snowshoeing with her husband, cheering at a CU football game, attending outdoor concerts, or spending time with her Yellow Lab Riley and friends. She also likes to cook and entertain, and to spend vacations on the beaches of Maui and California and the slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
