About Rachel

Rachel Ivers is an Associate on the Multifamily Investment Sales Team at Compass Commercial, where she collaborates with Senior Vice Presidents Bryan Danforth and Matthew Thomson. A key contributor to Compass Commercial’s Northern California multifamily platform, Ms. Ivers specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily investment properties across the San Francisco Peninsula, with a particular focus on high-growth Peninsula submarkets. 

Ms. Ivers brings a robust background in investment sales, advisory services, and real estate development to her role. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in more than 7.3 million square feet of real estate transactions, representing a total value of over $2 billion. Her expertise spans multifamily and commercial real estate assets, and her services include buy-side advisory, property and portfolio-level valuation, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, and strategic investment analysis. 

Prior to joining Compass Commercial in 2024, Ms. Ivers served as an Associate Development Manager with Lendlease, where she conducted development and operational analyses for four corporate projects in the South Bay and San Jose markets. Her efforts identified over $800 million in cost-savings opportunities, demonstrating her ability to provide innovative solutions that drive value. Before Lendlease, she founded a real estate consultancy, advising on transactions totaling $320 million across the United States. Ms. Ivers also gained invaluable experience as a Real Estate Analyst at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. (HFF, now JLL) and began her career at Marcus & Millichap in Denver, Colorado.
