Traci Shulkin, Christine Shechtman and Joanne Baron had helped us buy our home in 2018, and our experience with them was so positive then that we chose them again without hesitation when we unexpectedly decided to move in April 2020 from greater Boston to the Chicago suburbs. Our experience with the Shulkin group was even more positive this time around. We put our house on the market in late April of 2020 when the pandemic had already started in the US. Traci, Christine and Joanne’s advice on how to price our house and when to put the house on the market was absolutely spot on! When the house eventually went on the market they were extremely careful in organizing the showings. They would schedule prospective buyers for private showings only, being very careful to wipe clean any surface that those who came by the house touched. They themselves made sure to wear masks the whole time and carry hand-sanitizers to ensure safety. It was an amazing display of both professionalism and care. Our house sold within ten days of going on the market, and I suspect a lot of that had to do with the proactivity of our real estate agents, and our willingness to listen to their advice! Chris and Joanne, whom we have interacted with extensively and have come to know at a personal level, are also just simply good people. When we needed real estate agents in the greater Chicago area, Traci’s group connected us with an awesome group within Compass who helped us buy our next home! We would strongly recommend that if you are either buying or selling you should absolutely consider the Shulkin group.
