“The real estate industry, especially over the last 5 years, has experienced immense pressure to innovate and change. I’m focused on evolving to keep pace with the industry as well as continually improving as an agent. In order to be the best resource for my clients, I have to examine what I do that’s working and what isn’t. There’s no room for ego in any of this.”
Born and raised in the city of ‘brotherly love’, Philadelphia, Randy brings a no-nonsense, yet caring and genuine approach to working with clients. Growing up as a gymnast - both as a student, and later a coach, Randy’s work ethic reflects that sports’ required dedication and rigor, ensuring his clients receive the personalized, nuanced stellar service they deserve. “I work tirelessly to earn trust with my clients. This business is built on relationships. Everyone wants to close more deals, but the core of my what I do is focused on the quality of each transaction, not the quantity.”
Randy graduated with honors from Fielding University earning his Masters in Organizational Management and Development. Always looking for new challenges and ways to build his arsenal of skills, in 2015 Randy passed the notoriously difficult Project Management Professional exam to earn his PMP. A resident of DC for 17 years, Randy has worked in leadership roles managing large teams for Bank of America, Apple and Pottery Barn. His skill set reflects that experience whether he is reviewing lender estimates with nervous first time home buyers, selecting inventory and staging property for sellers, or partnering with developer clients to incorporate smart tech features into new construction.
Randy is a tireless advocate for animal rights and supports both national organizations such as the ASPCA as well as local rescue efforts like City Dogs. You can find him, his partner Daren Phillips and their dog Sadie, an Anatolian Shepherd mix, at the dog park at 17th and New Hampshire or strolling around Meridian Hill Park. His hobbies are mainly centered around music. “My first instrument was drums and I played in a rock band in high school/college. In 2006 I bought a guitar and taught myself to play. I took voice lessons for a year and a half. If I could get a band together, life would be near perfect. We’ll see what the next few years have in store! Stay tuned!”
Randy is licensed in DC and VA.
