Nobody knows South Florida quite like a local. Richard has proudly called the area home since 1995, when he relocated from New York City to Coral Springs with his family. A true Floridian at heart, Richard attended Florida Atlantic University, where he earned dual degrees in Marketing and Finance in 2005.

After graduating, Richard began his career as a mortgage loan officer, gaining valuable experience in all facets of mortgage lending from 2005 to 2009. This foundation gave him a deep understanding of the financial side of real estate, which has continued to benefit his clients throughout his career.

In 2009, Richard transitioned into real estate full-time, quickly establishing himself as a versatile and knowledgeable agent across both residential and commercial sectors. His passion for real estate was complemented by a hands-on understanding of building and renovations. Over the years, he has cultivated a sharp eye for value-add and investment opportunities, especially in the Broward and Palm Beach County markets. Richard also built a strong and reliable network of contractors, designers, and service professionals—adding an extra layer of value for his clients.

It was during this time that he crossed paths with Anthony Vitale, whose extensive experience working with top developers, building owners, and property managers in New York made for a natural and powerful synergy. After collaborating on several successful projects, Richard and Anthony decided to officially join forces, launching a boutique brokerage.

Recognizing the growing importance of technology, digital marketing, and data-driven strategy in real estate, they aligned their business with Compass—a national leader in innovation and modern real estate services. Together, they founded The Tony Rich Project, an ambitious and fast-growing team operating under the Compass banner, based in Boca Raton. With their combined experience, forward-thinking approach, and unmatched local knowledge, The Tony Rich Project is redefining what it means to buy, sell, and invest in South Florida real estate.
