Richard Welch

Richard Welch is a native San Franciscan. He has a keen understanding of property and investment values, and takes pride in his ability to both build long-term relationships with his clients, and navigate them through simple and complex real estate transactions. This includes a complete understanding and first hand knowledge of San Francisco’s condo conversion process from TIC’s to individual condominium units.

Richard grew up in Sea Cliff with his four siblings. After attending Cathedral School for Boys, and University High School, Richard explored the East Coast. He attended Bucknell University, majoring in economics, spent a semester studying business in Copenhagen, Denmark, and lived in New York City.

He returned to San Francisco and built a 12 year career in the securities business as an Institutional Equity Salesman, before transitioning into real estate in 2015.

Richard is proud to call San Francisco his home, is very active in the community, remains extremely close to his large, local, extended family, and currently lives in the Marina district with his wife Alyson and two children, Lucy and Richard.
