I am a SPARTAN
Over the last two years I have been on an incredible journey. I have lost over 60 pounds, completely changed my diet, become a CrossFit athlete after a 20-year break from exercise, and found a community that has become a cornerstone of my life: the Spartan Race. My first race was so physically demanding that it was only my will and commitment that got me through. Being a Spartan is more than completing a race to earn a medal. Spartans push their bodies and their minds to the limit, learn continuously, give generously, master their emotions, and prove themselves through actions, not words. I am proud to carry these principles with me through every facet of my personal and professional life.

A seamless fusion of art, architecture and design, Richard Neutra’s “Glen House” stands as one of mid-century architecture’s most iconic homes. Offering walls of glass, cantilevered roofs, a mix of natural materials and a completely restored interior, this residence is signature Neutra. The kitchen and main living area renovation garnered numerous AIA awards for architect Joeb Moore and transformed the kitchen into an unabashedly modern, skylit space open to the main living pavilion. This is the hub of the home, with floor to ceiling glass, living and dining areas and the original, restored fireplace. The guest wing offers two bedrooms and access to the original lower level guest suite. The owners’ wing spans off the other end of the living space and has been lavishly expanded by RolfsElert Office and includes dressing room, bath with large soaking tub and an enlarged sleeping room bathed in western light. The finishes throughout the home are unmatched in quality and integrity, and the exterior of the home offers stone terraces, abundant light and beautiful vistas across the lush lawn and stone outcroppings. Just as the Kaufmann House anchors Neutra’s work on the west coast, Glen House holds a similar position on the east coast. Enviably located just a 50-minute train ride away from midtown Manhattan, the purchase of Glen House affords one the ability to upgrade their lifestyle and find respite and solitude within the walls of a work of art.
