Based out of the Compass office in Los Altos, Rick serves buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula, from Palo Alto and Menlo Park to Mountain View and San Jose.

Known for his thoughtful approach and skilled negotiation, Rick builds long-term partnerships with clients, many of whom return for multiple transactions. Whether guiding a first-time homebuyer or marketing a luxury new construction, he brings deep market knowledge, tailored strategy, and clear communication to every step of the process.

Before joining Compass, Rick spent over two decades in senior executive roles in the international luxury fashion industry. He led brand and retail expansion for companies including Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Tumi, Safilo, Faconnable, and Nordstrom, often overseeing site selection, leasing, and flagship store development across North America and Europe. This experience continues to inform his refined approach to marketing, staging, and working with international and design-conscious clientele.

Rick has also managed his own real estate portfolio for many years, gaining firsthand expertise in investment strategy, renovations, and property management. He regularly advises clients on long-term wealth building through real estate, including 1031 Exchanges, navigating Proposition 13 and 19 implications, and understanding capital gains impacts when buying or selling.

A third-generation Bay Area native, Rick has lived and worked in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale. He offers insider knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, and community dynamics that go beyond what you’ll find online. He also serves on the board of It’s From The Sole, a nonprofit distributing shoes and clothing to those in need.

Rick holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University and is deeply committed to sustainability, wellness, and quality of life.
