About RL

RL Hesson is a Franklin native with deep roots in Williamson County and a career defined by strategy, leadership, and results. A graduate of Brentwood Academy and the University of Mississippi, RL returned home with his wife, Anna Lauren Hesson, to raise their family in the same community that shaped him—where their children now attend Battle Ground Academy.

Before entering real estate, RL spent over two decades leading at the highest levels of major organizations. He began his career with Harrah’s Entertainment (later acquired by Caesars Entertainment), ultimately becoming Head of Gaming Analytics for a $10 billion enterprise—where decisions were driven by data, risk analysis, and precision. He later transitioned into healthcare, serving for 18 years as a C-suite executive within a $12 billion healthcare organization. These roles sharpened his expertise in negotiation, market analysis, financial strategy, and complex transactions—skills that directly benefit his real estate clients today.

RL later founded and scaled a real estate brokerage from the ground up to more than 300 agents before successfully selling the company. He also founded Hesson Loans, a rapidly growing mortgage brokerage serving Tennessee and Florida, giving clients a rare advantage: deep insight into both real estate and financing. Today, RL works alongside his wife, Anna Lauren, as part of The Welcome Home Team at Compass, bringing a highly strategic, hands-on approach rooted in local knowledge, executive-level negotiation, and comprehensive financial insight to every transaction.
