About Ron
Ron Hamilton was born in Boston but has spent the majority of his life in Louisiana, consistently returning to New Orleans after venturing away on a few occasions. He was educated in New Orleans and attended Loyola University, where he studied commercial sciences and accounting. Ron has an extensive retail background, having owned two retail stores in Downtown New Orleans and Dallas.

His professional journey includes a significant 20-year career with local supermarket giant Schwegmann, followed by another 20-year tenure with Walmart, the world's largest retailer. After retiring in 2016, Ron capitalized on his extensive network by becoming a licensed Realtor® with Gardner Realtors, seamlessly transitioning into the real estate industry.

Ron is married to BJ Murphey, a seasoned Realtor® with 44 years of experience at Gardner Realtors, now part of Latter & Blum. Latter& Blum is now part of a nation wide company known as Compass. The couple resides in Lacombe, where they enjoy living on acreage, gardening, traveling, and sharing a glass of fine wine with family and friends.
