Rosa Hardesty

Rosa Hardesty, a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, joins Compass after 15 years in Human Resources. Most recently, Rosa has worked for the esteemed Society for Human Resource Management as a Knowledge Advisor, guiding businesses across the country in employment laws and regulations. Prior, Rosa worked in HR for Hyatt Hotels in Chicago, Denver, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, and Florida. All in total, she’s relocated with her husband and family 7 times.

Having frequently navigated the challenges and stress that come with relocation, Rosa’s perfectly suited to assist her clients through their own home buying and relocation journey.

Rosa’s first passion is her family of 5 including three children, Michelangelo (12), Gianluca (9), and Giuliana (6) along with her husband Nate and Lagotto Romagnolo Rocky. 

Rosa’s a 1st generation Italian that’s fallen in love with Austin and everything it offers. She loves to explore hiking paths around the city, indulge in the many amazing restaurants this city has to offer and meet new Austenites excited to join such a kind and vibrant community.

Asked what gives her such reason to be so passionate about Austin, TX, Hardesty responded “Austin is truly the community I’ve been searching for these past 15 years. I’ve found so much joy watching my family thrive in this sprawling urban paradise and felt so welcomed by everyone from the first day I arrived. The people, the luxurious landscape including Hill Country and the surrounding areas, and the diverse neighborhoods which truly offer something for everyone and the sense of place are what have drawn me to this career path. Helping others find their dream home and dream community is my passion. I’m so excited to be part of a company like Compass which shares that passion.”
