About Ruth

Ruth was born at Georgetown University Hospital and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. From 1985-2019, Ruth enjoyed her daily commute to Gallaudet University where she earned her M.A. in counseling. Over the years, while raising her four sons, she worked as an adjunct professor and then as a mental health counselor. Her work as a mental health counselor is something she will always treasure and value.

When her son, Lukas, joined Compass, he asked her to come work with him. This request provided Ruth the perfect opportunity to retire from Gallaudet and challenge herself in a new career, real estate. For Ruth, working in real estate with a background in mental health feels like a perfect fit. So does working with her son. This unique work situation allows her to continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
