Originally from Boston, Ryan earned his JD at the University of Washington School of Law and practiced law in Seattle before joining Get Happy at Home in 2021. He keeps his Washington law license active, so purchase contracts, addenda and inspection responses are read by someone trained to read them and explained in plain language before anything is signed.
Ryan also completed home inspector coursework. On every tour he looks for red flags, estimates likely repair costs and points out where a house has room to add value, especially with older Seattle homes, townhomes and ADUs.
He represents first-time buyers, move-up buyers and sellers across Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and greater King County. Clients choose Ryan for his calm negotiating style and straight answers.

Ryan has lived in the U-District, Ravenna, Phinney Ridge, Ballard, Capitol Hill and Kirkland, and now lives in Olympic Manor with his wife, Taylor, their son, Hunter, and their dog, Harley. Off the clock he is probably writing a D&D campaign, shooting hoops or lifting at Olympic Athletic Club.
