" If it were not for Ryanna I would not have successfully purchased my house in DC. I was a first time homebuyer with a small budget using a downpayment program that has a bit of a reputation so I had a few things working against me. Within an hour of me getting a notification about my house coming on the market Ryanna was able to secure a scheduling and met me there. Before the end of the night her team lead and herself worked fast to submit an offer on the home. Less than 12 hours later we heard that my offer on the house was accepted. We faced sooo many obstacles through the process being under contract for roughly 54 days but she never stopped reassuring me and working on my behalf. She went for my house re-inspection when I couldn't, She went over and checked on the house as time went on, her personality was a win to the sellers of the house who made things super easy for me. She was phenominal I gained more than just a business relationship it certainly developed into a friendship I hope continues to florish!" - Burkina C.

About Ryanna

When it comes to real estate, Ryanna Miller is so much more than a Realtor to her clients. She’s a trusted advisor, advocate, and friend all in one, stopping at nothing to ensure every buyer or seller gets the experience—and the results—that they need.

Originally born in DC but raised in Alaska, Ryanna always knew she would find her way back to our nation’s capital. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from A&M University, Ryanna attended American University’s reputable graduate International Relations program, where she sharpened her problem-solving skills and aptitude for foreign affairs. In the years since graduating, Ryanna has opened a hair salon, obtained her Grant Writing certificate from Emory, aided in poverty reduction, worked in international relations, and led teams operating in the global finance space—to name just a few. Ryanna also bought her first home in DC, which ignited her passion for real estate that burns just as bright three years on.

Ryanna recognizes that real estate is about so much more than buying or selling a house, it’s about finding a place to call home. To do that, you need a trusted agent by your side who’s committed to making your dreams a reality. Ryanna found that dedication in her own Realtor, and she promised herself that her clients would never have to settle for anything less. That’s a promise she’s kept ever since getting her license, guiding every client with compassion, expertise, and the drive to make a difference.

Today, Ryanna is known by clients as the Realtor they can always count on. To Ryanna, every transaction is an opportunity for negotiation, and she’s not afraid to advocate for her clients’ best interests at every turn—and at any cost. As a hands-on teacher, Ryanna leverages her first-hand knowledge of the real estate process for her clients’ benefit, providing the valued understanding of what to expect along with the reassurance that they are not alone. As a DC resident, Ryanna loves getting lost in the vibrant sights and sounds of the city to help her clients find their own place there time after time. She works with clients in all price points and phases of life, although she has a particular penchant for helping first-time home buyers since she knows from experience just how rewarding it can be to make that initial investment in your future.

Ryanna was selected by the US Department of State and the Institute of International Education as the 2019-2020 Gilman Alumni Scholarship Ambassador, a role that empowered her to connect with underrepresented college students, university officials, international education leaders, and congress through the power of speech. As a proud Deanwood resident, Ryanna can often be found making her community a better place, thanks in part to her work with Diplomatic Perspective, a non-profit she founded that partners with high school students to enhance their exposure to international affairs. She’s also involved with the Brookings Institute, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In the rare moments when she’s not giving back to the people and places around her, Ryanna loves traveling, practicing a plant-based lifestyle, and spending time with family and friends.
