About Tyler
From an early age, I was captivated by architecture and real estate, which led me to earn my real estate license in 1985. I began my career at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate, now known as CBRE, specializing in selling and leasing commercial properties. My clients included industry giants such as SONY, TRW, the U.S. Postal Service, General Dynamics, Carmel Mountain Ranch, and Linkabit, a spin-off of Qualcomm.

Driven by a desire for entrepreneurship, I ventured beyond commercial real estate to start a medical equipment distribution company, followed by co-founding an international produce import/export business. Both ventures were developed and eventually acquired by larger corporations, with my business travels extending to cities including London, Tokyo, Dublin, Buenos Aires, New York, Santiago, as well as regions in Canada and Mexico.

Eager to return to the real estate sector, I joined Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty in Encinitas in 2018. I quickly became a prominent figure in the San Diego real estate market, recognized among the Top 1.5% of agents nationwide and the Top 1% in San Diego County. My portfolio spans from condos under $1M to achieving a record-breaking $10M sale in Encinitas/Cardiff. In 2025, I advanced my real estate career by joining Compass in Del Mar, continuing to represent clients across San Diego County's North County coastal areas.

Having been born and raised in San Diego, with roots in Chula Vista/Bonita and a Hilltop High alumnus, I am naturally passionate about promoting our exceptional county. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Diego State University and further developed my marketing and sales expertise with two different Fortune 50 companies, Xerox Corporation and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate, both in San Diego.

I bring extensive experience in sales, marketing, negotiation, and client relations to my real estate practice. My international and domestic travels have enhanced my ability to connect with people from various backgrounds, and I have built a strong network throughout Southern California. I reside in Cardiff with my wife and two teenagers.
