We launched on the path to sell our home of almost 40 years in May of 2025. After interviewing several agents, we chose Sally and Elizabeth based on their superb track record in selling upscale, historic houses in the San Diego area. We made absolutely the right choice. This mother/daughter team is to use the term "a well-oiled machine". They patiently coached us through four months of upgrades and renovations of our 1920's craftsman bungalow located in an historical district. When we finally listed the home, the market had begun to soften in terms of a seller's expectation on purchase pricing. Sally and Elizabeth diplomatically managed our goals; along with aggressively marketing the property through the various Compass platforms and their own extensive network. The home was listed on a Saturday, open house on a Sunday, and by Tuesday we had three offers over asking. With Elizabeth’s and Sally's negotiating skills, we had an offer considerably higher than we had expected. They made sure we were updated on every part of the sale. And, unlike many agents, they were at the house for each session - from open house to individual showings to official inspections. The escrow closing phase was upending to our day-to-day schedules; but they both oversaw every aspect to ensure that we and the buyers had confidence in each step.
