I've always believed that every home has a story - and that thoughtful design is what makes people fall in love with it. As the founder of The Art of Houses, I get to combine my favorite things: architecture, design, marketing, and helping people make smart real estate decisions (pretty much my dream job.)
I'm a second-generation REALTORĀ® who made the leap from a successful career in tech because I realized I cared far more about beautiful homes than building technology. These days, our team ranks among the top 1.5% of agents nationwide (as per RealTrends), and we've had the privilege of helping more than 200 buyers and sellers throughout Los Angeles. While I'm proud of the numbers, what I love most is helping people find their house - or helping someone else fall in love with the one we're selling.
I'm endlessly fascinated by architecture. Give me a Spanish Revival with original tile, a Mid-Century with walls of glass, a Craftsman with gorgeous millwork, or a California Bungalow with great bones, and I'm a happy person. I notice the little things most people walk right past - the curve of an archway, the way the afternoon light fills a room, the original hardware someone thankfully never painted over.
One of my favorite parts of the job is teaching clients to see those things, too. Buyers often dismiss a home because of outdated finishes without realizing it's architecturally fantastic. Sellers sometimes don't recognize which features make their home truly special because they've lived with them for years. Helping people see the potential (or the charm that's been there all along) never gets old.
Preparing a home for sale is where strategy and creativity come together. My philosophy is simple: don't spend money just because someone on the internet told you to. Spend it where buyers will actually notice it. Sometimes that means paint, lighting, landscaping, refinishing floors and fabulous staging. Sometimes it's simply editing furniture, styling thoughtfully, and letting the architecture shine. Every recommendation has a purpose.
When clients ask where to start, I help turn what feels like an overwhelming to-do list into a series of manageable steps. Over the years, we've built relationships with an incredible network of painters, handymen, flooring specialists, landscapers, photographers, cleaners, and other talented vendors we genuinely enjoy recommending becauses our clients have adored them. Our clients get trusted resources, a clear game plan, and someone who's happy to answer a hundred questions along the way.
My design philosophy is to enhance what's already there - not erase it. I love preserving character, highlighting original details, improving flow, and creating spaces that feel warm, timeless, and authentic. Trends come and go. Good architecture doesn't.
Staging is one of my favorite parts of the process because it's where a home really starts telling its story. We offer our own curated in-house staging, which means we're not pulling furniture from a warehouse and hoping for the best. Every piece is chosen to complement the home's architecture, scale, and personality. The goal is helping buyers walk in and immediately think, I have to live here!
Clients often tell me that working together feels surprisingly low-stress, which is probably the compliment I'm most proud of. I believe buying or selling a home should feel collaborative, honest, and even fun. I'll tell you when I think something is worth spending money on - and when I think you should save it. I'll celebrate the original bathroom tile with you, gently talk you out of questionable design choices, and negotiate fiercely when it matters.
At the end of the day, real estate is about so much more than buying and selling houses. It's about finding the place where birthdays are celebrated, dogs discover their favorite sunny spot, dinner parties spill onto the patio, and everyday life unfolds. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to help people find those places every single day.
Buying a home?
Not sure where to start? I'll demystify the buyer process and help you find the perfect home for you. Get in touch and let's chat! I love working with buyers to find out what they're looking for and focusing their search on the best options. I also love demystifying the buyer process and calming any fears that buyers may have. Having extensive experience with reviewing offers as a listing agent, I bring that savvy to putting together solid offers that get accepted.
Selling and need renovations?
I know how to get your reno done quickly, efficiently and creatively. The Compass Concierge program can lend you the money you need to renovate, with no fees or interest. I have experience renovating multiple properties - that experience is invaluable in a market like Los Angeles, where the housing stock leans to the older side and frequently needs a creative approach and an experienced eye. Or use a Buy Before You Sell program to sell before you buy, making your transition more seamless. Or you can choose to sell to a network of investors and walk away, hassle free (usually not the most lucrative option, but we can discuss your options)!
If your goal is to maximize your sale price, we typically recommend moving out before we prepare your home for market. An empty home gives us the flexibility to make thoughtful improvements, stage it beautifully, and create the kind of first impression that helps buyers fall in love. It's often the single biggest factor in achieving the best result.Find out more about my selling strategy.

When I'm not touring houses or obsessing over beautiful architecture, you'll probably find me exploring a new restaurant somewhere in Los Angeles, wandering through a home store convincing myself I definitely need another chair (I don't!), or hanging out with my three rescue huskies, who run the household (and know it).
I'm also the proud mom of a preteen, and if you've ever asked me about navigating Los Angeles public schools, you've probably realized it's one of my favorite topics. Having gone through the process myself, I'm always happy to share what I've learned - and I'll happily talk about our public schools any chance I get.
Before real estate, one of my favorite hobbies was racing cars at the track, which probably explains why I stay calm under pressure and genuinely enjoy negotiating. Whether it's finding the perfect light fixture, discovering an incredible neighborhood restaurant, or helping someone fall in love with the right house, I'm happiest when I'm exploring, learning, and sharing what I've found.
