Sara Hyder

Sara Hyder is a Houston real estate agent with Finch Properties Group at Compass. She has been licensed in Texas since 2021 and has closed more than 55 residential transactions totaling over $25 million in sales volume. She represents buyers and sellers throughout West Houston, including Spring Branch, Memorial, Memorial West, the Energy Corridor, and Katy. Her specialties are relocation, first-time buyers, move-up buyers, and down-sizers.

Sara grew up in Massachusetts, earned her BA from the University of New Hampshire in 2008, and moved to Houston that same year. Time living in New Orleans and Dubai gave her a broader sense of what makes a neighborhood feel like home. Because she relocated to Houston herself, she knows neighborhoods throughout Houston proper and West Houston firsthand. That makes her a trusted guide for families moving to the area and for local buyers comparing school districts, commutes, and communities. Before real estate, Sara spent years as a store manager for lululemon, where she built the skills she brings to every deal: reading people, solving problems quickly, and giving the kind of service that keeps clients coming back.

Sara manages the moving parts of each transaction, working with clients, cooperating agents, lenders, builders, vendors, and contractors to keep every deal on track from contract to close. Her practice is built on clear communication, honesty, current market knowledge, and hard work. She lives in Memorial West with her husband, three children, and their mini beagle, Mel, and she is deeply involved in the Spring Branch ISD community. She serves as VP of Programs on the parent board of SBISD's SPIRAL gifted and talented program and coaches Odyssey of the Mind.
