Sara Melander

Virginia native Sara Melander expertly serves clients with her well-rounded professional experience and abundant local area expertise. As The Goodhart Group's director of sales, she's integral to the team's mission of helping every client love where they live.

Among both her clients and peers, Sara has earned a solid reputation for her marketing and sales expertise. She knows exactly how to showcase each home's best qualities, and she's a fierce negotiator on her clients' behalf. Prior to real estate, Sara honed her business acumen in the nonprofit and travel industries in the Old Town area of Alexandria. Today, she's licensed in both Virginia and Washington, DC.

Originally from Bluemont, Virginia, there's hardly a local neighborhood that Sara isn't familiar with.  She currently resides in Alexandria.  She has also lived in the DuPont, Chinatown and Navy Yard neighborhoods and across Northern Virginia in Arlington, Herndon and Fairfax, to name a few.

When she’s not hard at work with The Goodhart Group, you can find her and her husband, Justin, spending time with their two kids and dog.
