About Sarah

Sarah started her real estate career in 2008 right before the market crash when she would have to convince people to move to Brooklyn. She feels lucky to be at the forefront of that transformation when Barclays Center was a mere vision and taxis would rarely want to drive outside of Manhattan. She comes from a varied background of renovating, designing, real estate transacting for both investments and residential, team management & mentorship. Her team at Compass is called The Sawyer Team. Sarah assists in varied real estate deals in Brooklyn and Manhattan whether it be a two Michelin starred restaurant in a Brooklyn loft warehouse; a $20 million investment deal; Luxury Brownstone or a Penthouse Condo in Greenpoint. She also is grateful to have a portfolio of trusting landlords who are like family where she helps match tenants to their new homes. Sarah and her team are soup to nuts with pro marketing, sales prep high end design consulting + deal closers. Sarah is originally from the Bay Area in Northern California and has lived in New York for 20 years. She graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism. She says part of living in NY is getting away and enjoys traveling to her country home Upstate as a second home, seeing her family in California or traveling to Italy. One of her favorite things to do in the city is go to Forest Hills Stadium and go to a show - NYCs best kept secret rivaling The Greek Theater in Berkeley or Hollywood Bowl in LA. Sarah is also very creative. Whether it's turning her investment properties into designer luxury abodes or painting her spiritual paintings in her barn with a cold beer and her peeps, she thinks creating is everything.
