Scarlet has been a member of the West Baton Rouge community for over thirty-eight years and has a great sense of our wonderful parish and surrounding areas. It has been her privilege since graduating from LSU in 1986, to educate the children of our community in the Brusly, Port Allen and Point Coupee school systems. Her background as an educator with a BS, MS, National Board Certification and Supervision has helped her to develop relationships with not only her students, who are adults now, but their parents, as well as other members of our community.

Scarlet also serves on the Community Advisory Panels for local plants (DOW, Olin, West Lake, Shintech and SNF Flopam), the WBR Library Board, Landmark and Historical Board, and works with the YMCA auction on a yearly basis. For those of you who know her family, they have built and sold homes, as well as purchased, improved, and renovated historical homes in our parish. Scarlet retired from the school system in 2013 and bring the skills acquired in this career to the profession of real estate: communication, organization, professionalism, and dedication.

Scarlet prides herself on the relationships and friendships she has developed over the years and Real Estate seemed a natural career choice for her! As your personal realtor, Scarlet’s goal is to research the real estate activity in your area and market your home in a multitude of ways. Scarlet is supported by a wonderful family which includes her awesome husband, Owen Callicoatte, a retired supervisor with Exxon Mobil. Her lovely daughter, Scarlet Theriot, who is the executive administrator of the Island Country Club in Plaquemine. Her son, George Callicoatte who is an operator at the Exxon Refinery. Her daughter-in-law Haley Callicoatte who is a surgical tech for OLOL Eye Medical. Last, but not least Scarlet has three wonderful grandchildren: Rhett Lee who is fifteen and a future Bass Master Champion, Savannah Rose a sweet princess who is ten and Owen Barnes the happiest baby on earth, who is fifteen months old!
