Scott Fava has worked in New York City real estate since 2005, advising buyers, sellers, and investors through some of the city’s most competitive and complex market cycles. Over two decades, he has developed a reputation for steady judgment, clear communication, and an ability to help clients make confident decisions in moments that often feel anything but simple.
After several years on top-producing mega-teams, where he gained broad exposure to nearly every transaction type, Scott founded The Fava Team in 2021. The team was built intentionally, smaller by design, client-first in practice, and focused on thoughtful strategy rather than volume for volume’s sake.
Scott’s experience spans co-op and condo resales, townhouses, new-development advisory and marketing, long-term investment strategy, and select commercial assignments. He regularly works with high-net-worth and public-facing clients who value discretion, preparation, and informed perspective. Many of his transactions never reach the open market, a reflection of trust built over time and a deep professional network across the city.
While Scott is particularly well known in downtown Manhattan, his practice extends throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. He has collaborated with respected developers including Tishman Speyer and Gemini Rosemont, and his market perspective has been featured on Million Dollar Listing New York, Open House NYC, and in industry publications such as The Real Deal and Inman.
A graduate of Cornell University and a former Division I tennis player, Scott brings a disciplined, analytical mindset to the clients and team he leads, pairing experience with curiosity, and strategy with care.
