Sean’s technical background is a major plus. Prior to joining Real Estate Industry, he was a top tier student with a Master’s degree in computer science. That was followed by distinguished careers in telecommunications and energy research.

Born and raised in Shanghai, China, he’s lived in the United States for 30+ years, is bilingual in English and Chinese, and speaks some Japanese and German. One of the most culturally diverse agents you’ll ever know, he understands American and Chinese cultures so well that years ago, he opened a school in Illinois. It teaches Chinese culture, martial arts, etc.

Family and friends would say Sean is dependable, detail oriented, easy to talk with, a hard worker and very versatile. Sean enjoys volunteering, including conducting charity fundraising events and/or public affair events. He’s an avid golfer who is also competitive with basketball and volleyball, having won area championships over the years. He’s proud of his wife, who had a successful career in telecommunications as well, and his daughters who are well educated and successful: One has graduated from MIT, the other has earned a Ph.D. degree from Northwestern University.
