Michelle Harris has spent her career advising people on making significant investments that give them great joy—first in high profile development positions at the BASIC Fund and Stanford University and now at COMPASS, where she specializes in luxury residential real estate. Michelle moved to the Bay Area more than 19 years ago to study at Santa Clara University, first as an undergrad and then while pursuing her JD/MBA. During her summers in law school, Michelle worked at San Francisco magazine, where she became passionate about discovering the unique neighborhoods in our amazing city. She has a deep understanding of the nuances of each neighborhood and specializes in helping her clients find the perfect fit for them. Michelle is also deeply enmeshed in the fabric of the San Francisco philanthropic community and is on the boards of Edgewood Center for Children and Families Auxiliary, the St. Francis Yacht Club, St. Francis Sailing Foundation and previously on the board of the Junior League of San Francisco. She’s the mother of two young children and wife of a fifth-generation San Franciscan, Napa Valley winery owner and San Francisco restauranteur. The Harris family lives in the Marina, just blocks from their Chestnut Street restaurant, where they can often be found enjoying Sunday dinner—family-style.
