    For the last 18 years I've worked in just about every facet of the real estate sector—from commercial leasing and new construction sales, to historic preservation, planning, and neighborhood redevelopment master plans. In 2016 when Compass launched in San Francisco and invited the Top 20 agents in town to sign-on I was thrilled to be included. Erin Thompson and I left Pacific Union together and had a phenomenal first year at Compass; in 2017 our three-agent team sold $85,000,000 in real estate.

    That effort landed us on the Wall Street Journal list of the Top 1000 Agents in America. Only 12 agent teams from San Francisco made this prestigious list (and eight of those are at Compass.)

    Trained as a city planner, I was executive director/CEO of four neighborhood economic development associations earlier in my career—advocating at city hall on behalf of property owners and indie business owners. I’ve served on a variety of public/private boards and committees: historic preservation, architectural review, facade design review, parking commissions, and permit appeals.

    Over the years hundreds of real estate investors have relied on my analyses, direction and experience to make investment choices. Deploying this accumulated expertise, while advising you on possibly the biggest financial decision you will ever make, is my privilege. I enjoy making introductions to other trusted professionals you may need—contractors, architects, interior designers, craftsmen.

    I dabble in several life extension activities (exercise)—Crossfit, climbing, kick-boxing, hot yoga, lacrosse, and water polo. But I frequently balance those with lower pain-producing actions like brunch, surfing, or my almost-famous "educational tours” of wineries. I earned sommelier credentials via the Court of Master Sommeliers a few years ago and love taking my real estate clients up north for private tastings and celebrations. We have a blast; and you may learn something about wine too!

    In addition to real estate I am passionate about philanthropy. I studied non-profit financial management at Harvard and have advised or served on at least ten 501(c)(3) non-profit boards. As you embark on this journey to buy or sell a home, please remember those that haven’t a place to sleep each night. Consider giving regularly to local charities that serve the homeless; they are a critical part of our economic ecosystem that uplift the least fortunate among us.
