Shane Brier Barry

Shane is a licensed real estate associate broker who offers complete and knowledgeable representation of both buyers and sellers. Shane is dedicated to providing her clients with the educational, communication, marketing and negotiating skills that they should expect from their real estate broker.

Having grown up in Denver, Colorado and living for many years in New York City before moving to Scarsdale, Shane has a keen understanding of the issues faced by families deciding to make the exciting move to the suburbs — and is a working example of how wonderful that decision can be. Shane always puts her clients’ interests first and is excited and motivated to find each family the perfect home.

Shane graduated from Tufts University and received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Compass, she was an agent at Platinum Drive. Shane enjoyed a successful career as Counsel in Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s New York City office, specializing in finance transactions. As an attorney, Shane gained an in-depth knowledge and understanding of contracts and learned effective transaction management — insights that benefit her clients in many significant ways. Shane now enjoys applying these skills, along with her knowledge of the Westchester real estate market, to help buyers and sellers make one of their largest and most important financial decisions.

Shane happily resides in the Heathcote section of Scarsdale with her husband and two children. She is a member of the Westchester County Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
