My wife and I walked past a gut rehab in the neighborhood we already lived in and we asked her to look into it. She got us in to see it right away, we made our offer shortly after and the rest is history.
Selling our condo was the real challenge, but she was totally up to it and made what could have been a difficult process as simple as it could be. She was aggressive in targeting potential buyers, knew what we needed to do as far as scheduling open houses and showings, and provided a calm presence in discussing our strategy.

About Shanley

Although born in New York and a long-time resident of Manhattan, Shanley immediately fell in love with Chicago after moving to the city in 2013. She continues to be amazed by all Chicago has to offer compared to other world-class cities. Shanley’s love of real estate dates back to her childhood. She watched with pure intrigue as her parents converted an outdated barn in upstate New York into their longstanding, and current family home and because of this has a deep understanding of how a home can define a childhood full of memories. She and her husband are currently doing a massive renovation and restoration of a landmarked home in Lincoln Park. This experience is a great advantage to her clients who can lean on her expertise to guide them through renovations of all sizes and scopes, as well as new construction purchases. She wants to help her clients identify and procure homes that create memories and a lifestyle that she has so enjoyed throughout her life.

Shanley enjoys getting to know her clients and helping them find the best fit for their life. Having extensive experience in sales, she is there to guide her clients every step of the way, from the search, to the negotiation, through all the small, but important details that transform your dream home into a reality. As a recent homebuyer herself, Shanley knows the importance of being hands-on and taking what can often feel like a complex process and making it a simple, fun, and exciting experience. Shanley is a mom of two young children, so you can often find her at nearby parks and playgrounds, enjoying all that Chicago has to offer. Shanley is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and received her graduate degree from NYU. Having worked for Travel + Leisure and Food & Wine magazines, she is an avid traveler and loves to check out the newest restaurants in the city.
