I know "salespeople" don't often have the best reputation. Personally I don't enjoy situations where I have to deal with someone whose main goal is to make a sale and doesn't have my interest at heart. The last thing I want is to be lumped into that category or to ever push anyone toward a decision. My goal is to provide guidance and information so that clients can feel empowered to make their own decisions.
