About Shannon
Shannon OāFarrell was the very first agent to join the Mandy & David Team after Mandy helped her buy her first home. Her previous work as a commercial property manager and in residential construction informs her work as a realtor. Shannon recognizes a good investment and understands what it takes to renovate any home. Thanks to her vast experience and marriage to a general contractor, she has compiled a long list of contractors that she refers to her clients.
Well known for her patience and knowledge of the D.C.-area market, she really cares about her clients, who become part of her life and circle of friends. Licensed in D.C., Maryland and Virginia since 2007, Shannon lives with her husband and two kids in Brookland, a neighborhood that she loves for its sense of community.
An avid Nats fan with season tickets, youāll often find Shannon at the ballpark with her family. She also spends time at her vacation home on the Eastern Shore and visiting family in northern Michigan. A graduate from James Madison University with a degree in journalism, Shannon grew up in the Virginia suburbs.
Shannon's children attend Washington Yu Ying, a Chinese immersion school in Brookland, where Shannon volunteers. Shannon is particularly proud of the block parties the Mandy & David Team hosts to raise funds for the schoolās PTA.
