"Shannon is a phenomenal Realtor. She listens to what her clients want and then works hard to find them their dream properties. She does not miss a beat and will always have your best interests in mind.
My own experience during Covid was literally unlike anything I could have expected. Within days of Austin going into shut down mode, Shannon contacted another Realtor with buyers who missed out on buying a home down the street. We had just finished painting and were a week away from listing our own house. With the shut down going into effect, we had no idea if we would even be able to list our house. Shannon quickly invited the buyers to come see our house and had a contract for us within 48 hours for $25,000 over our planned listing price. Shannon also helped us scout a very competitive market for pocket listings in Rollingwood. Not an easy feat! She was able to show us a number of lots and tear downs, even though they were not listed at the time. Her time and effort went a long way in helping us decide which lot to build our dream house on."- Brooke Hollon
Her career in Real Estate began in 2000 while she attended the University of Texas. She studied Spanish (and is bilingual) and Business while working in leasing and residential sales. In 2003, she moved to Spain for work, heading up a study abroad program until 2006, then to NYC and the world of banking. Of course, we all eventually head back to Austin.
In 2010 she received her MBA as one of 5 women to attend Acton School of Entrepreneurship (class of 32 students), where she realized her passion for Service and Leadership. She loves being back in Real Estate now armed with incredible business acumen and her innate knowledge of this town!
Shannon is married to Steven, another Austinite, whom she met at the age of 14. They have four children, Westyn, Liam, Brazos, and Aspen. In 2019 she and Steven purchased a home giving Shannon valuable insight into her clients' perspective of the process. Shannon shares, "Setting expectations and over-communication with clients is key. As is understanding the art of the deal; more relational, less transactional will win every time." Whether you are buying, selling, or investing in Real Estate, Shannon has redefined what 'taking care of a client' looks and feels like, and will exhaust her ATX roots to find your next investment or home.
