Shawn Mazzarone

Shawn believes success in real estate comes through the combination of putting his clients’ interests first and foremost, and serving those interests with a tireless commitment to working hard and working smart.

Shawn partnered with Compass upon his return to his native New York from Washington, D.C., where he set several records selling new homes in developments just outside the Beltway, tallying up more than $50 million of sales between 2013 and 2018.

Though he is equally comfortable working with buyers and sellers, Shawn specializes in working with residential real estate investors. His clients appreciate his calm demeanor and interest in pursuing their specific objectives and goals. He works hard to understand his clients’ needs and then puts in the extra effort to make sure the successful transactions are as stress-free as possible.

Shawn's success in real estate is a continuation of his days as a Psychology major at the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the wrestling team that won the A.C.C. Championship in 2009, 2011, and 2012.

He resides in Long Island City, where he enjoys the neighborhood’s restaurants, nightlife, and generous parks and public spaces. When he’s out of the city, Shawn loves ski trips and clamming in the Great South Bay.
