About Shelly
Originally from England, Shelly Northern has made Miami her home for almost 20 years. After graduating in the top five percent of her class with a BSc (honors) in Psychology, Shelly lived in Spain, France, and Barbados working in the hotel industry before Miami became home.

Prior to working for Compass, Shelly was the broker/owner of her own brokerage firm in Coral Gables, which was a finalist in the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce for Business of the Year in its first year of operation. She has also earned educational certificates from the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) and the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) program.

More recently, she was the co-presenter and featured on Sky TV’s “Million Dollar Dream Homes,” where she showcased Miami’s finest luxury properties across Europe. She has also been featured on the cover of Brickell Magazine. As a real estate broker with 14 years experience, Shelly has handled many different kinds of residential and commercial real estate, including selling 1,200-acre equestrian communities to international investors, and through her experience, she has gained a diverse client base. She is trusted by clients and colleagues alike, and many realtors have even listed their own homes with her!

In her spare time, Shelly is passionate about and spends a lot of time at Miami’s animal shelters finding homes for high-risk dogs by moving them out of state and to safety. A lifelong student, she has studied Mandarin for three years, and also enjoys painting, drawing, and working out.
