“To those who are looking for a real estate agent, I had been looking for a home to buy in San Luis Obispo for some time, but was doing so without a realtor, applying my efforts via the internet since I live in Huntington Beach. When a home became available near relatives, my brother and his wife went to the open house and met Shelly, who was showing the home. I had several conversations with her regarding the property; she did mention that the property needed quite a lot of work. My brother took pictures which confirmed this. I elected not to make an offer on the home. However, Shelly was aware of a property which was not actively listed, but she believed might be available, and I was able to make an offer on that property before it was relisted. That offer was accepted, and escrow closed within three weeks. Shelly is very familiar with the real estate market in San Luis Obispo, who the other realtors are, and also the escrow process. She was always available to answer questions, and indeed anticipated questions and helped explains the details of how property is sold. I found this quite helpful, since I had not purchased a home in California since the late 80s. I found her frank, forthright, and trustworthy. I have no hesitations in recommencing her to anyone who is looking to buy or sell property.”
