About Shelton
Shelton is a certified New Yorker with Southern roots. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has lived in New York for more than two decades. An owner of a co-op in Greenwich Village where she served on the Board, Shelton is comfortable working with buyers and sellers both uptown, downtown and in Brooklyn.
Shelton combines a "good eye" with good judgment. She has a natural capacity to listen and learn and loves meeting new people, seeing new places and experiencing New York to its fullest. A natural people person, Shelton's customers find her approachable, trustworthy and a joy to work with. Shelton listens to her clients wants and needs and makes the buying and selling process as smooth as possible. In addition to her strong resale business, Shelton has served on the exclusive sales and marketing teams for several successful new development condominium projects including RAMSA-designed 200 East 83rd Street & 150 East 78th Street as well as SOM-designed 252 East 57th Street.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Shelton spent several years in Charlotte working both in real estate and in community relations. She then moved to New York to pursue a career as a commercial actress. Specializing in voice overs and print, Shelton has been the "sleep-deprived mother" on the cover of Newsweek as well as the voice of the New York Times weekend edition.
Shelton spends her free time focusing on friends and family, contemporary art and travel. She shares her love of cooking, food and wine through classes, entertaining and enjoying the New York culinary scene.
