For over 30 years, Sherri Barrett and her husband have proudly called Huntsville, Texas home. While raising their three sons, Sherri was deeply involved in the local community through schools, churches, youth sports, and a variety of organizations. Today, she continues to give back as President of the Board for the Boys & Girls Club of Walker County. This longstanding involvement has provided Sherri with a deep understanding of the local market and a trusted network of relationships that directly benefit her clients.

Sherri’s passion for real estate began with her love of helping others and her strengths in organization and efficiency. After teaching music while raising her family, she managed a local real estate office and—encouraged by brokers and agents—transitioned into full-time sales in 2013.

In 2016, she co-founded Emblem Properties, and by 2019, earned her broker’s license and became the sole owner of the firm. Under her leadership, the company grew in both sales and agents. In 2024, Sherri aligned Emblem Properties with Compass, joining forces with the industry’s leading brokerage to bring clients and agents exceptional tools, resources, and service.
