About Sonya
Sonya Zepeda is an expert in luxury real estate, with a track record that speaks for itself. Born in Arizona, she grew up traveling the world, calling places like New York, Washington D.C., Chile, and South Africa home. After studying at the University of Madrid, Sonya launched a career in high-end PR and marketing, working with luxury jewelry brands Hellmuth and Christian Tse in New York City before transitioning into real estate and mortgage lending.
Specializing in resort residential real estate and development, Sonya quickly made a name for herself. As a senior sales representative at The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley and later Azure, she closed nearly $600 million in sales. In 2018, she moved to Maui and became the island’s top-producing agent, selling over $149 million. By 2020, she joined Christie’s as Director of Development Services, bringing her sharp business acumen and client-first approach to the role. She is now with Compass specializing in Luxury Residential and is the Director of Home Building and Development.
Sonya's ability to build strong relationships, combined with her passion for deal-making, has positioned her among the best in the industry. When she's not selling luxury real estate, you’ll find her rescuing animals in need or enjoying a competitive game of pickleball.
