About Stacey
With more than 20 years of experience representing both buyers and sellers, Stacey Kanbar continues to get excited about what’s behind the next door, how she can market her next listing or match her clients with their ideal home.

She brings her background in art as well as her eye design to her work, providing sellers unique positioning and marketing that will net the best price. In helping buyers, her creative perspective helps them see and maximize the potential of a new space. While a top producer, Stacey also brings humanity, thoughtfulness, and patience to the process so her clients can enjoy their search and take the time they need to find their new home. As a result, Stacey built her business on repeat clients and referrals. These same qualities have earned Stacey an excellent reputation throughout the brokerage community, establishing long term-term relationships with fellow brokers and managing agents, facilitating smoother transactions all parties.

Stacey also offers well-honed expertise in Manhattan’s -op apartment market. From choosing quality buildings to providing hands-on assistance throughout the board approval process, she enables her clients to navigate the complexities of the co-op market with as much ease and efficiency as one can expect from what can be a difficult process without the right guidance.

Prior to joining , Stacey was a top-producing agent 13 years with Brown Harris Stevens and 10 years with William B. May. Her career previously was in the arts where she worked the Leo Castelli gallery, Blum Hellman Gallery and Christie’s Auction . Stacey Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Michigan with a B.F.A in Fine Art and is a member of the University of Michigan Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design Alumni Association.

On a personal note, Stacey is committed to humanitarian causes, especially those involving the education and welfare of children. In this role, she sits on the board and is co-chair of the New Gen Board of AMIT, an organization that educates underprivileged children in Israel. She is also a supporter of The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and is on the Board of Sisterhood at Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun. Stacey and her husband, David (an entrepreneur in the alcoholic beverage industry), live on the Upper East Side with their two children, both of whom attend The Ramaz School. When not working or with her children, Stacey can be found taking a hot yoga class or walking her mini-Labradoodle, Lucca.
