Stephanee Bates

Stephanee was among the first agents to join Compass when the Company expanded to Texas in 2018—her twentieth year in real estate. Having served as a top sales agent, associate broker, and COO at her prior firm, she was selected to serve as the Company’s first Designated Broker for the state of Texas. During her term as Broker, she led a rapidly expanding brokerage that grew from fewer than 20 agents in early 2018 to over 2,100 in 2021. Her role placed Stephanee in charge of regulatory and ethical compliance—essentially quality control— for every Compass agent and Compass offices across twenty-six MLS boards and billions of dollars in real estate transactions. In October 2021, Stephanee completed her term as Broker and returned to her first love of real estate sales. Stephanee’s depth of experience in real estate assures her clients that they will receive the highest levels of service, knowledge, and advice. Additionally, she brings a perspective from an agent with unmatched professional networks, market knowledge, and a passion for real estate as a means to serve.

Stephanee has held volunteer leadership positions with Carry the Load, a charitable organization benefiting veterans and first responders. She is fascinated by automobiles and likes to attend car shows and auctions.
