About Stephanie
Stephanie began her career in late 2003 after spending sixteen years in financial consulting with an international Big Four public accounting firm. Her exceptional negotiations, advisory, relationship, and client service skills - when assisting both residential and investor real estate clients - is a direct result of her extensive experience in quantifying economic damages for commercial litigation, valuing closely held entities, including real estate partnerships, and strategic consulting for corporate transactions.
Stephanie assists buyers, sellers, and investors of both residential and commercial real estate. As the buyer's broker, she is conversant on buyer trends and preferences and quickly comprehends specific features and amenities sought by buyers in new construction and resale properties. As such, Stephanie strives to create a seamless process by culling appropriate properties, explaining the financial impact of purchasing one property versus another, and monitoring the lending process. She has also exhibited an innate talent for assisting clients in choosing properties in appreciating markets and achieving built-in equity as a result of prudent negotiating.
With the goals of creating reasonable expectations while achieving maximum sale price as the seller's broker, Stephanie assists with preparing the property for maximum impact - including staging and minor repair and rehab suggestions - prior to becoming active on the market. Along with keenly assessing market value and market conditions for sellers to target competitive pricing, she also positions her listings using a winning combination of digital, print and social media advertising so that her properties stand out among the crowd.
As an investor's broker, Stephanie provides strategic, comparable, and sensitivity analyses to best meet the investment objectives of the client, whether buying or selling.
Stephanie's comprehensive understanding of Chicago market trends and statistics, combined with her stellar brokerage skills, led to a promotion to Executive Vice
President - Business Development at CONLON Real Estate where she was tasked with implementing strategic initiatives for the development and growth of the business. Since CONLON's merger with Compass Real Estate, Stephanie returned to her overwhelming love of the sales process and returned to full time brokerage where she thrives on assisting clients with finding and purchasing their new home and/or listing and selling their current home.
Stephanie received her MBA from DePaul University with a concentration in real estate finance and graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Business and a major in Accounting. Stephanie passed the CPA exam in 1989. Throughout the years, Stephanie has served on many charitable boards and event committees. She was awarded Rookie of the Year distinction in her first year in the real estate business and was recently recognized in Chicago Agent Magazine's "Who's Who in Chicagoland Real Estate."
Stephanie enjoys international travel, yoga, biking, entertaining, spending time with her niece and nephew, and ferreting out the diverse delicacies of Chicago's ethnic communities. Prior to her current residence in Ravenswood, Stephanie lived in Old Town for many years.
