"I worked with Realtor Stephanie Weitzner who also happens to be a classically trained attorney. The key takeaway is that Stephanie literally sold our house. She coordinated the contractors...the color consultant and the carpets and the painters...We were as 'absent' as one can imagine. Stephanie sent constant updates via whatsapp and email. She gave us the opportunity to choose the best course of action, and each time we deferred to her best judgment we were encouraged to defer again...she's an expert and a hard-worker. And finally, our house was on the market for less than 5 days, she helped us choose among two immediate offers (they all loved the house) and we closed remotely. "Stephanie is the reason we now live in our dream home. She is incredibly hardworking and committed to making sure her clients' desires are met. As first-time homebuyers, we had no idea how to even begin to think about buying a home. Stephanie went above and beyond to help us get educated on the process, find resources for us to read through, and answer all of our questions (and there were many!) in order to gain a complete understanding of what we were jumping into. Stephanie always made us feel like we were in the driver's seat - no pressure, no rush, and no insistence to make a decision at any point. As a child of real estate investors, Stephanie has been excited about real estate since she was a kid but took the long route when turning her passion into her profession. Stephanie’s interest in advocating for clients initially led her to law school, after which she spent years as a litigator in New York City, working for firms both large and small.
Moving to Austin and finding inspiration in this phenomenal city led Stephanie to realize that she wanted a career that was more connected to her new hometown. When purchasing her first Austin home, she found that she wasn’t ready to let go of the experience. Although she had already taken (and passed!) the Texas Bar Exam, she was hooked on real estate, and there was no turning back.
Stephanie feels fortunate to have discovered, through the peers and mentors that guided her, a unique way of working in real estate that aligns with her personal and professional values; working by referral means that she focuses on her clients and their needs with a long-term perspective, helping clients with real estate issues or questions wherever and whenever they arise. Moreover, she views herself not just as a realtor but as an advisor, helping clients not only to buy or sell but to strategize toward long-term wealth building with real estate.
When she’s not running around town, you can find Stephanie at home with her husband, Sujan, and their super cute kiddo, Zoe. Stephanie loves languages (help her practice her French, Spanish, German or Turkish!) and aspires to someday learn to juggle.
